Hey, Class of 79 Chargers!
We are planning a potluck picnic at Terri Dart Wegeng's house on July 10, 2010! Terri lives just outside Camargo off Route 36. We will have directions up soon, and we will have signs to help you find your way. This invitation is open to all classmates and their families, but we would also like to open it up to anyone who were friends with us in high school, so please feel free to pass this along to any '78, '79, and '80 Centennial Chargers you know who would like to attend.
We plan to eat between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m., and the party will last well into the evening, so plan on bringing plenty! Terri is opening her kitchen for any who wish to come out early and prepare your dish(es) on site. There is no set starting or ending time, so come on out and enjoy!
Bring:
- something to throw on the grill
- a side dish (or two)
- your choice of beverages (alcoholic, non-alcoholic or both!)
- if you can: chairs, coolers, lawn games, etc.
Class will provide:
- plates
- eating utensils
- napkins
- ice
- We will have a few tables, chairs and coolers available, but need help from the local folks to bring extra.
- Donations will be greatly appreciated to help offset the cost.
Activities:
- Terri's house has lake frontage, so if you like fishing, bring your pole and tackle. (She swears there is fish in the lake!)
- camping for anyone who wants to
- anyone who has lawn games (yard darts, badmitten, volley ball, washer or bean bag toss, etc.), please bring them!
- Terri has a large fire pit and will have a fire going, so if you're into roasting marshmallows and/or hotdogs, please feel free to bring them.
For any of you out-of-towners who need help coordinating your contribution, just email Carolyn at carolyn@campfarm.com, and we can work something out. We are working on getting a block of rooms at a couple of local hotels for anyone who needs them, and details will be added soon. Terri is willing to let some folks camp on her lawn, but she cannot guarantee electicity. If you're camping in a tent or a smaller camper with no bathroom facilities, she will allow the use of her facilities.
Please RSVP by June 30. If you want to camp, please put that in your RSVP, or you can email Terri directly at terrilee2005@yahoo.com.
Hope to see you there!
