What have you been doing for the last 10 years?:
Ten years hmmmmmmm.... well, I have been married for 16 years and have a 13 year old son and a 22 year old bonus daughter. My son, Neal, does every sport he can fit in - so we spend most weekends traveling to baseball fields or football fields or basketball courts - the benefit of living in a small town - no cuts. I work at a church on campus doing all things financial. My husband has a construction/remodeling business and I do the money end of that for him. I volunteer for many organizations in my small town and find it very rewarding. It all keeps me very busy. My dad is now 84 and re-married 2 years ago to Miss Alice. Age is starting to affect them and I help as much as I can. - I am at his house almost daily to make sure things are okay. I wouldn't have it any other way. Life is so good - I am very blessed.
From Deena:

I can't believe that it has been almost 30 years.  I am looking forward to seeing everyone.   My life back then was so different it will be good to see everyone again.  I don't see many classmates these days but it will be nice to see how everyone is doing.

What have you been doing for the last 10 years?:
After my days at Centennial I graduated from the U of I in '83 with a degree in Elem. Ed. I married my college sweetheart Tom Freeman and we settled into life in Champaign. Our daughter Leslie Ann was born in '86. Tom got a job offer in Bryan - College Station, Texas and we moved in '88. Our son, Joey, was born in '91 and I have been teaching for over 20 years. After 20 years Tom and I divorced in 2003. I was fortunate to find a wonderful man, Larry Whiteley, and we married in 2008. I have made the trip to Champaign each summer and Christmas since we moved to Texas and I can't believe how much it has changed, yet some things remain the same. My children have also enjoyed the pool at Centennial Park and the "sledding hill" during the Christmas visits. Leslie graduated form Texas A&M and Joey will be a senior at Bryan High this year. Where did the time go? Seems like yesterday we were worried about what to wear to school and who was dating who? or is it whom? Well, see you in July!
From Lynn:
I am really looking forward to seeing everyone at the reunion.
If you haven't decided to attend, I hope that you will reconsider so that we can all have a wonderful time remembering our days at Centennial.
WOW - what a fun time at the reunion!
"Thanks" to all that helped make this an
event to be remembered.  THe DVD was great.  I am looking forward to being in Champaign during the holidays so let's keep in touch! Lynn

What have you been doing for the last 10 years?:
I have a small law firm in Atlanta with me and 3 other lawyers. We specialize in business bankruptcy and have been staying pretty busy. Beth and I have been raising 3 daughters and 2 wheaten terriers(mostly Beth, though I helped some). Lindsey, 23, graduated from Vandy and is teaching in France this year and will enter law school next fall at West Virginia University. Molly, 20, is going to be attending the Univ. of Alabama next fall in its College of Social Work. Annie, 16, is a rising junior in high school. We are soon to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. We built a house several years ago in a great intown neighborhood overlooking a small lake and love it. Other than work we have traveled a good bit and I play tennis and some golf (or at least I did until tearing my left achilles last fall, but am on the mend now). Hard to believe its been 30 years. I used to think those people were all washed up.
From Rob:
I look forward to seeing everyone.

The Zimmerman Sabases moved back to the CU area Oct. 12, 2001. In 2007 we moved to Crescent Drive! My husband, Roberto Sabas, combines civil service work for the U of I with a home artists' studio (graphic design and illustration). I help in any way I can. We have two girls at Central (we started out in their district and didn't want to switch--no offense), and our little surprise turns two in November. HE will be a Charger, I promise. P.S. Looks like we'll be OT for the reunion. Oh, well! See you in 2019!
